Spring 2024
Spring of 2024 became a season where everything felt monumental. The white emotions of life — joy, clarity, and ambition — stood alongside the black emotions — loss, doubt, and weight. Both carried their own presence, both demanded to be seen. Those months left me with more than memories; they left me with lessons, and with images.
Photography has always been my way of making sense of these shifts. Sometimes it feels less like capturing and more like carving space — space to hold what I feel, space to translate it into something tangible. Whether the emotions arrive bright or heavy, the act of taking a photograph steadies me, giving form to what otherwise slips away unseen.
This series is the residue of that season. Fragments in black and white, threaded through the tension of light and shadow, carrying with them the contradictions of a spring that taught me more than I expected.
