Rishab Sharma
For the shoot, we wanted to capture not just Rishab, but the ethos of the instrument itself. The sitar carries centuries of weight and wonder — our aim was to translate that into something surreal and timeless. We knew digital wouldn’t do it justice, so we shot on celluloid: a Kodak film Leica M6, inspired by the stark aesthetic of the Ricoh GR21, with Kodak Tri-X 400TX for those high-contrast black and white frames.
Film always brings its own texture — tactile, unpredictable, alive.
